Haven't you guys learned to stay far away from all of these GLOD books which nobody in their right mind would ever want in their collection.  :D  :takeit:

I wonder if resubmitted with a request for a blue label what the grade might be. hm

Figured i'd let the Big Centaurs posts cool down a bit before posting my minor one. My first post to this Thread as member of the Centaur club . The cover is so Eliot Ness.

Could also be in the Motorcycle thread.

Dang Chris, that Larson CGC 9.0 AMF 2/5 sure would look great as a bookend with this.

That has to be one of the best Goldenage covers for colors and concept ever created!

You are 100% correct when it comes to the colours on this particular GA book.  (thumbsu

I still remember being down at one of the SD conventions back in the 90's and Pat Kochanek was walking around with the Church copy of this book and absolutely raving about the combination of bright colours used for this cover.  :cloud9:

He could talk for hours about Paul's mission to the Gentiles.

Yes, I still remember reading his multi-issue article on the Edgar Church Collection that ran in CBM #2 - #5.

In fact, those early issues of CBM by Gary Carter was an absolute joy to read as there was just so much information packed into those pages and the absolute reading highlight for me as I used to scour the mailbox waiting for it every month.   :cloud9:

I believe that Pat was primarily a high-end pedigree type of collector only and is probably still the department head (brain specialist or something like that) of some hospital down in the Pittsburg area.
