Wow. No wonder these books are rare. YOUVE GOT EM ALL

hey, a 7.0 was in the Comicconnect Berk auction. I guess by then you'd filled your quota

I typically only try to upgrade and I have the cosmic airplane copy of this issue so I don't believe that the comicconnect was an upgrade for me

Dug up some old photos, which reminded me of my first SDCC back in '81.

Mile High Chuck was there, and he had a partial short box of Church Cheslers/Centaurs. This was all brand new to me, and at $15 to $25 a pop I thought the books were really cool. I commented to him that I was surprised he still had these books unsold, and his blunt reply really stuck with me ("Nobody wanted them.").

Well I wanted them, so just for fun...

This book is blazing and amazing, but the spine is split down to the top staple.

Great looking, blinding white copy. The split wouldn't bother me at all with this one.

And at $15-$25 per book.....those were definitely the days.

Finally added a blue one, was happy with the colors.  The HA scan looked washed out to me.  Much richer colors in hand:

Now of my favorites.  Very nice.
