That's one of those covers that makes you think Raboy stands out as one of the best comic book artist ever...or he worked way to hard on that one. Nice...

Raboy was one of the best. This Flash Gordon example, not mine, is fantastic. If he had done Timely or DC work his name would be far better known and I'd have to spend far more on my collection. :D

I am not sure why I don't have a Green Lama issue in my collection but I have lots of Flash Gordon pages. In my youth, I peered nose to nose at those pages (near-sighted) and loved every page in the Sunday funnies my grandmother saved for me. They were special and nothing else matched them until I saw work by Alex Raymond.
