I never really got into SiP, but Echo and Rachel Rising scratch my itch. I have two Echo related piece by Terry.

Alex, was it because Echo and RR are genre stories? You might be a unicorn! I would be curious to know how many more non-SIP Terry Moore fans are out there.

Terrific pages and drawings... The thing I love most about Terry's art is his consistency within "his style". This shows a high level of craft and is a quality I also admire in folks like Kevin Maguire or Gabriel Rodriguez.

I would recommend Terry's "how to" book. It is an interesting and very candid read on his process. (And, he has a few different styles... SIP Kids, Kixie, etc. -- any of which you can see evolve over his career.)

I like Sci-Fi and some horror so, yeah, that might be it. It could also be that the day I read the first trade, I was in a non-receptive mood.

I like Terry's characters - RR has a bunch of interesting characters, his pacing, and his style.

I forgot to mention that I do like SiP Kids - go figure.

The links do not work. If you want to cite a comment in a thread on the CGC board, this is the syntax:

The is at the top of the thread post. For example, this thread has the number 9146147. You can see it in the URL for the thread in the address bar of your browser. This is what I see: "http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=9146147#Post9146147"

The is on the post itself. My post with my two pieces of art are post number 9146494.

Thus, you can go straight to my post by pasting this link into your address bar (without the quotes):

http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Main=9146147&Number=9146494#Post9146494

Make sense?

Well, if folks are going to showcase their own Terry Moore art, you should all give my wife's sketch by him a gander, that she got several years ago. I'm actually surprised it hasn't gotten more comments or likes, myself.

I liked AND commented!

I attribute the pacing in RR to Terry's being unafraid to pull out to those lonely wide shots and also his use of negative space in so many panels. Very moody.
