c2e2 this weekend

Hey all,

I live in Wisconsin so the only big show I have ever been to is Wizardworld Chicago. Is c2e2 better for comic art? worth going too? any feedback is appreciated.

Not as good as sdcc or nycc but pretty good for the Midwest.

 

Moy, Anthony and Kwan will be there. And I'm sure a bunch of artists will be there selling their items.

 

Artist Alley this year particularly strong.

 

Price for admission is relatively low and the trip from WI isn't long.

 

I would go if I were you unless you are trying to get the same art that I am and in that case, don't go! ;-)

This year is my first year at C2E2, but from looking at the artist list and exhibitors I would say that it's going to be worth your time. Or - like eewwnuk points out - it's totally not worth your time if you're trying to get the art I'm after!

thanks for the responses and the private emails guys, i appreciate it. I only had today as an option to go as my daughters basketball on Saturday and work on Sunday prevents the other days and I decided to not take the chance of traffic hell so you will have one less competitor for your art. Maybe next year...have fun!

I went last year and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of art available. Much of it in Artist's Alley. Wish I'd made the drive down this weekend ...
