I wish there was a list as I would be more interested in some titles if I had interest in the original recording and was aware of the cover art homages.

Please consider posting your favorites if you have scans available as I would love to see some.

starting with the OP's thread, you have, from left to right: 50 cent: get rich or die tryin; notorious b.i.g.: ready to die; tribe called quest: midnight marauders; asap rocky: love live asap; dmx: flesh or my flesh; tyler the creator: wolf; lauryn hill: miseducation of lauryn hill; wu-tang: enter the wu; 100's IVRY; de la soul: 3 feet high & rising; dr. dre: the chronic; and finally, ol' dirty : return to the 36 chambers.

I have 10 or so, I am amazed that there are 63 or more!

Do you know of any links where they have the albums homaged by the covers listed?

http://comicbookinvest.com/?s=hip+hop

AWESOME! I forgot about those articles, I know I read them!

There are some other Hip Hop variants, but our topic here is focused on the Marvel ones, so let me filter out the others, here are just the Marvel Related article links:

other than the fact that all the covers are posted, this is horrible. this guy doesn't know much about any of the albums he lists. Edited by Hawkman

UPDATE:

97 Hip Hop Covers in my collection with more on the way from previous week's pre-ordered releases!

None right now are tough to find, while some remain expensive, the 1:100 All-new Inhumans sure has calmed down a bunch.

Anyone else making way with this one? Anyone have a new favorite since the onslaught of new covers started to hit?

Mad Titan

I planned on stopping once the initial ones came out but... :cloud9:

Not sure how many I have in my PC but still waiting for that Deadpool cover to come down so I can grab a copy. I like the Thanos cover! (shrug)

The Deadpool is "THE ONE". I don't see it coming down anytime soon though with it being a strong seller, it has the $Memory$. But I will wish you good luck on finding one.

I have to applaud your effort on this!

Did you get that free handout similar to the marvel previews that came out a while ago? Marvel also released a hardcover book about the hiphop covers. (4th one down). http://www.midtowncomics.com/store/search.asp?q=Marvel+hip-hop&os=1&sr=HP&reld=1/1/1900&reld2=1/1/1900&furl=pl=16@@q=Marvel%20hip-hop

Just wanted to make sure you knew about them

Ah! I though you were inception'd in that thought, thanks for clarifying,

Well the Black Panther #2 2nd and 3rd are not "Hip Hop Variants" anymore than the Guardians Team Up #3 is.

Cap Steve Rogers #1 Hip Hop Variant 2nd Printing was indeed the 1st REMIX to an actual Hip Hop Variant.
