Other than the infamous ASM 129 roach drawing...

I thought this is a candidate.

(of course with him puling in $100 per sig, he doesn't care what he signs)

I don't remember if it was a SS or a raw sig, but a number of years ago I saw a Captain America Comics #1 on ebay with Stan's big marker signature on the front cover. Asking price at the time was $20,000.

Just wondering, is there a story behind the cockroach? or he just did it randomly?

Looks like he was trying to draw a spider (shrug)

Someone said Stan Lee had done a signature in that upper corner, and then decided to change it and sketched a 'spider' over the first signature.

Not sure how much truth there is to that. But it seemed to make sense.

I vote for this one...

stan-lee-autographed-tatoo-back.jpg

A 20 spot says this guy immediately rushed to the local parlor to have that inked on permanently.

That could win for the worst signature placement ever, regardless of who singed it.

Saw a photo the other day of a Spidey 700 (Martin Variant) where Stan had signed right over top of McSpidey's signature.

I would make it my life mission to outdo that sig placement every time if I were a pro. But no spider sketches, that's just cheating
