Based purely on those two scans, without knowledge of the interior or PQ, I would say a pretty safe 4.0, possibly a 4.5 if you get lucky.

Arrived today. I also thought it would be a 4.0 with a shot at 4.5.  I did not press it but I probably should have.  Many of the defects were pressable including some spine roll and creases.  Still, it’s always a good feeling to upgrade!

The Mile High Planet Comics #18 just hit Comic Link with a Buy Now of $20,000. 

This sold in the CC auction for $19,200. So not a large markup.

Planet Comics #63 Mile High sold for $5,801 in last nights CL auction and $6,680 in the December 2018 CC auction.

More common in the higher numbers but a great cover just not on par with the 18

How on earth is this book still available? Just hit CC a couple of days ago. Only 2 graded higher and those 2 aren’t going anywhere.

my opinion is that while the book is structurally strong its colors are weak and strong color strike has high desirability with Fiction House collectors

I agree, plus let's be honest, it's not one of the great Planet covers...not really high on the Planetoid desire-o-bility meter.

Yes perhaps the colors strike is the main reason here. I wish CC didn’t have such bad scans, it’s always so hard to know with them how the book really looks.

So, I recently acquired my first copy of Jungle Comics 5.  Just wanted to post a side by side with Planet 10. As you all probably know by now, I really love the Zolnerowich covers. They are my favorite of the run. But, let’s not forget that his first Planet cover was a blatant  Eisner swipe!
