Kenny Baker, I can't forget learning about the magic of Star Wars and that his presence was what made R2D2 what it was. Now my age is really hitting home. Sigh...

Huge Star Wars fan (isn't everyone?). I think I watched Time Bandits half a dozen times on our old VCR before I realized he was in it. Condolences to his family and friends. RIP Kenny

From everything I've seen it always appeared that Kenny enjoyed his celebrity as a part of Star Wars and in pop culture. While some other cast members (Im looking at you Daniels) found parts of it beneath their position as actors, Kenny seemed to relish just being an entertainer (maybe from his roots as a stage act).

I think we should just look to how BB-8 kind of became a fan favorite and instantly loved, and a holiday favorite to a new generation when considering us older crowd's attachment to R2. Respect to the OG. Good times.
