PGM Batman 251, Weird Staple?

Please take a look at my Batman 251. I am mainly concerned with the staples because they look a little weird to me. They look too flat and unlike the staples from similar Batman issues, 252, 253 etc. They do not look like they have been removed/changed but I really would like a second opinion.

Agree with you, bottom staple looks funky, top looks original or can't tell.

 

Reason I agree is interior pic - extra holes just outside the staple. Replaced? No idea.

 

Comic looks 4.5 to 5.0 range, right in the middle. Major crease top right, stresses at open end.
