Curious to see what everyone thinks about the final price for the three books below:

1) Lone Ranger Comics #1 6.5 cr/ow  SOLD $1,400  (selling below Overstreet value $2,172)

2) Marvel Mystery Comics #4  2.0 ow/w  SOLD $6,095 (1st Sub-Mariner cover) Overstreet value $2,300

3) Pep comics #26 2.0 ow/w SOLD $5,365 (1st Veronica Lodge) Overstreet value $700

Subby caught a wave, lots of rumors about a film all over the web about two weeks before this sale.   Not surprised this book featuring his first cover sold at 6k.  FF #4 has been en fuego.

I didn't even bother to bid. I e-mailed CLink weeks ago asking whether several books I was interested in had any rust on the staples, and they didn't bother to reply.

People are still trying to float that submariner movie rumour lol ?

Who's making it?  Because Marvel still does not have the rights.

Cool, keep working that list...

Very nice! Any book with a Fletcher Hanks story is worth its weight in gold. (I assume the 64-page GA books weigh a lot more than the SA and BA books!!  :kidaround: )

:applause: Well done, HR!

Funny enough, there's no Hanks story in Fantastic #18... I believe #16 has his last story. Label mistake, tho a minor one.

more like $50k+. I bought that 31 in 2007 raw and the PQ was all cream to ow but for the chipped corners...

The cc tec 31 2.0 brittle that sold recently would seam to be weak price then

Posted in the Timely thread but I'm so happy with these two, especially the subby #12, that I'm posting again!:whee:

I really can't see Subby in the big screen. Just not going to be an entertaining character for a movie.

So, was it one of the board members here who was lucky enough to snag the CGC 8.0 or the single highest graded copy of Cinderella Love 26 with the Matt Baker cover?  hm
