When we met with the sponsor of this book, he pulled out a big looseleaf folder. In it were cases of kids who had been seriously injured or died from deliberately inhaling legitimate products. These were usually only locally reported, but this guy kept track of them all. It was amazing how many needless tragedies resulted from foolish decisions to abuse inhalants. Hopefully the comic prevented some kids from messing up their brains and lives!
