So the other auction ended with no buyer at 8k (+2k "service fee"), and thus the auctioneer has put it on eBay for 10k?

The auctioneer is the owner of the piece

This is aspirational, or aggressive, or something:

Sells for $2640 in a Feb 14th ebay auction: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Sal-Buscema-Joe-Sinnott-Original-Art-The-Hulk-Wolverine-Capt-Marvel-Iron-Man-/254494832247?nma=true&si=SdO%2BevSJNJcYgh%2FbM45ehaAmZQY%3D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

And now it's up for auction at a different place, with a minimum bid of $8000:  https://natedsanders.com/LotDetail.aspx?inventoryid=57493

The thing that always gets me with these type of flips is that they raise the price 5 times the original amount but can't even bother to offer free shipping as if it would be eating too much into their profit if it was to actually sell.

Ant-Man #1 pg16 by Dylan Burnett sold $250 a few weeks ago on Inky Knuckles:

https://inkyknuckles.com/dylan-burnett/ant-man-1-page-16

Now available on caf for "will always hear an offer":

https://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=1611592

I think Kevin lists most things this way as a way to show his collection is fluid. I don't see this as an intended quick flip for profit and I notice a few other CAFers list art similary (not for sale but will listen to offers - type advertising in the For Sale Status section).

yup, I wouldn't call that a flip at all.  It's not actively for sale.

Ok This one is funny...

Warlord # 9 p4 splash Bart Sears original art
This one sold yesterday (3/23/2020)
for $ 41.40
Link...

Is for sale today on CAF (3/24/2020)
Link...

Now, the dumb seller
is listing the page as:
JOHN CARTER WARLORD OF MARS ISSUE 9 PAGE 4 splash Bart Sears (By Dynamite)

This page was for the Bart Sears run in Warlord by DC around 2006.

He just win, don't bother to check the facts, don't have the piece in hand
and just rush to post for sale with all the wrong information...

Its "For Sale" status is "YES I CAN," whatever that means.
