D.C. 100 page giants spine issue

 I've recently been reading through some DC 100 page Giants from the early to mid-70s. I've noticed on a few of my copies that the first few pages are separating from the spine. Is this a common issue with these giants, or is it just a sign of a very good or lower condition grade?  

 

I have been trying to upload a picture I took but keep getting the error -200. Any ideas?
