What would you all give this copy of X-men 56?  Dealer believes its a 9.0 but I'm a bit concerned about the top.  Still learning so any help would be appreciated!

Can't be certain from scan but something is going on with the bottom left corner too(more visible on the BC pic). Book is still solid though.  I'd give an 8.5. I don't think a 9.0 is out of the question though.

That top edge puts it under 8.0 in my book. 7.5

Here's a closer look at the top and the bottom on the back over.   You guys still at 7.5?  I didn't think it would be a 9.0 as he claimed but I was thinking MAYBE a 8.5 or more realistically a 8.0.

Those long color breaking creases at the top keep it under an 8.0. If your dealer thinks that is a 9.0 he is either dishonest or has no idea how to grade.

To be sure this is a very nice looking book. The slight damage along the top cover is probably from the twine used to bundle the books for delivery from the distributor. This particular copy was probably near the top or bottom of the bundle making it more suceptible to that kind of damage. Also it looks like it has a little bit of spine roll. With a press, I'm at 8.5 tops on its grade.
