Question regarding boxing magazines.

I'm not sure if I can post this here and if not please let me know and I will delete it.  A friend of mine from work has hundreds of boxing magazines from the early 80's (Ring, KO, Boxing Illustrated).  He brought in about 50 and most of them have covers of all-time greats like Sugar Ray Leonard, Tommy Hearns, Roberto Duran, and Marvin Hagler.   The issues that I looked at were all in great shape (NM and NM +).   Do they have any value and if so where would be the best place to sell them.  He does not sell on EBAY so that's not an option.

I tried to price some of them on EBAY last night but similar issues being sold were not in good shape.  I know in comics there is a big jump in price between grades but I have no idea if that's the case with boxing magazines.  Any help will be appreciated.
