Typical collector math:

Generally not worth slabbing = low census numbers

Low census numbers + two rabid bidders = huge paydays for sellers

I've gotten tangled in a few of these as well (see Spidey Super Stories).

Yeah, I've done a lot of hunting and grading for books like this (Planetary, The Authority, Wildcats, etc) but if I don't have to do that and see graded copies come up, I'm all over them. Most of the time my crazy person bids aren't tested. Not here!
