Thought this would be interesting...

Post an old comic ad which has a physical street address - then show todays Google street view of the same

Why do I feel that if I break into that brick building I will find a skeleton, dust covered unopened cases of Amazing Fantasy 15 and a wide variety of novelty items?

I'm always tickled by this kind of thing myself. Quite a number of the advertising addresses in GA books seem to be gloomy, generic office buildings scattered around the side streets of midtown Manhattan. Other than additional wear and tear some of them don't look that different today.

Great idea for a thread. I don't have it handy but I picked up an old forties Dell and the owner's name and address was on the book. Since it was pretty close I thought I would look into the location and it turned out the entire street had been obliterated to make way for a big mall!! Sad ending to that story.
