If you want to be certain only purchase one with a reputable COA. Very easy to replicate that signature.

Ok, so what is your take on it? It is not an easy signature to replicate? Certificates of Authenticity that are verifiable are not safer options than a random buy on ebay?  or you have nothing more than to do the whole internet-bully troll thing, dismissing others and adding nothing to a cause  #internettough? hm You posted and didn't offer a single bit of useful information to the original posters question :golfclap:

if only there was a way for a company to have someone witness the signature, then keep a chain of custody until that comic was encased in a sealed protective case, and then that comic case would be labeled to show what date that the sig was witnessed live and in person.

Sadly

Take it down a notch or seven, sparky. No need to contribute to the massive overuse, misuse, and abuse of the words "troll" and "bully" to refer to anyone who posts anything that disagrees with our cherished notions, especially to refer to a post that only has two emoticons. COAs are functionally worthless, regardless of who they're from.

The sig looks just fine. Occam's razor applies here: if the book has little to no value, it's not going to be worth someone's time to attempt to forge it. And if someone thinks "oh, it's probably a practice forgery!", I've got some other conspiracy theories you might be interested in.

Don't play games, he wasn't referring to cgc but a reputable COA.  No such thing.  Heck even CGC has had issues with facilitators and have had to qualify "SS" books.

Look at Todd's signature on the book itself...you know, the scroll. Compare the letters, especially the last "E". Then compare to other books signed at the same time.

I don't think you're getting an "unverified" over at Voldie's for this one. Could be wrong, but I doubt it.

That other dude (Tonfele or whatever) on Feebay is making a killing forging Stan's sig on literally garbage books.

That's because Stan's people charge $140 for any and all sigs on anything.

Todd still signs for free "if it's not for slabbing."

That's a huge difference.
