Two pages of a Vampirella stuck together (shrug)

Okay, that beats the pubic hair. ^^

Bought a collection with a nice copy of a Gold Key Star Trek 2 in it. Problem with the comic was it had the upper left corner missing on the back cover. Spent years slowly reading the collection, and found the missing piece in another comic.

Also, found a corn flake in a Bronze Age comic I was reading. Okay, I didn't eat it, but it still looked edible. Kind of reminded me of what happens when you leave a plate of McDonald's French Fries out for a few years...nothing.

Several micro-fiche plates filled with nude centerfolds. Still looking for a micro-fiche machine.

Worst thing inside? I'd have to say it's the Mark Jeweler and other inserts. IMO, they do nothing to enhance the value and on the contrary, detract from the appearance, most of the books with inserts as thick as the Mark Jeweler ones having the impressions of them embossed onto the covers, like a seal. They create bends in the covers, and in some cases when stacked tightly or in larger bundles, actually rub the cover colors along those ridges.

On the few books with inserts I encountered, they seem to add support, similar to a backing board. The books were remarkably flat and free of creases. I kinda like them.

I've found on at least two occasions someone smearing snot in between the pages.  Probably just young kids as these were early BA books.  Never found a pube in my comics, but when I collected sport cards, I did get a slab back from PSA where a pube was encapsulated with the card by accident.  Not sure what the hell they were doing that a pube would wind up where it was.  I still have the card, it's a 1989 Score [glossy variant] Roger Clemens in PSA 9.
