My first deal ever on the boards was an art trade. I posted a JRJR Daredevil splash I picked up, and was contacted by a guy from Australia. 

I was even more ignorant about art values then, but I’m still happy with the result. I paid $60 for the DD page, and got $100 plus this...

I wouldn’t buy art to try and trade it, but good deals are good deals. I personally have no desire for a McFarlane spidey, but if I see one for $50, I’m buying it in a heartbeat.
