GMI,

Have you also tracked the 30c vs 25c Dell giants?  Mickey Mouse  Birthday Party comes to mind, with the 30 cent variant much rarer but not impossible to find.

Also the 12c to 15c variants of some Gold Key books.  Tarzan 177 for example.

Discussion suggests these were simply Canadian priced.

Maths boy, maths!

I'm an Englander and we talk proper.

For a field centered on numbers, math seems pretty confused about its pluralization. Americans and Canadians tend to say math while Brits and Australians opt for maths. ... Still, both versions are correct, if complicated by the fact that while mathematics sounds plural, it may actually be singular.

No, I haven't ft88. Not yet anyway. I like that kind of thing though so you never know. I mainly concentrate on pence variants but did post some 15 cent variants in my Charlton thread.  All price variants are cool really.

Well, I thought it was funny.

We're up to 194 confirmed Dell pence copies at the moment. Here's the latest addition, I Love Lucy Comics #28:

It's the only copy I own of the title, but I have images saved of 27 and 29. So as is often the case, they are all lumped together, giving the impression that the pence treatment may have stopped at 29:

We shall see John, we shall see.

These two aren't new finds, but are new to my collection:

Something nice about them isn't there.

Hope you like them :)

Operation got cancelled, so I'm back early. Sorry! You'll just have to miss me next year instead.

Up to 197 Dell's now:

Of that 197, 62 are Four Color's and a whopping 8 are Giant's:

Here are the Giants that I currently own - 6 of the 8:

35 is a new one :headbang:

I have some theories on which of the outstanding books may or may not exist in pence - there are 424 books in the date range - and will share them another time.

Have fun...
