I'm stuck. Other than blunted top of the spine, the entire top portion is amazing! I'd wager a 5.0/5.5

Is the spine split at the bottom, or just worn? I think maybe 5.0 if not, but down a tick to 4.5 otherwise.

Cool. There’s a small split as is visible, but it doesn’t travel up any further.

Thanks guys! Unfortunately AJD was absolutely right (yes, it happens... ). There actually is a spine split of about 1.5" at the bottom... it's discreet enough that I missed it the first time, but I have to admit it's there. Doh! So knock a grade or two off your guesses I guess.

I know I am new here but I think definitely a 4.0-4.5. The spine ticks and split and tanning amount takes it down below a 5.0 for me personally. Awesome book though! Golden Age horror is on fire right now.
