Hi y'all

Almost 2 years ago I started the GRR thread. It now contains 400 books from the GA, and their complete interiors. 400 is not a bad number in nearly two years, strangely enough on Page 777, as the anniversary approaches at the end of January. It would have been many more but I had a hiatus of almost a year in 2017 as I was undergoing intensive medical treatment, and was not in the frame of mind to continue the task. However I resumed when I was back on an even keel so to speak, and consequently we have 777 pages of interiors fully uploaded.

I started the thread simply because I love reading comic book and their interiors, both story wise (altho' some are awful) and the artwork. Covers always get the glamour attention and interiors are sometimes forgotten or ignored by some. However in the 2 years since inception the GRR has become a labour of love for me, Whether you read it or you don't...whether you like it or you don't, it is there for you as a resource. And I feel that it needs to be part of these forums, which is after all arguably the best comic forum out there. Everyone can learn a helluva lot here, about all sorts of things. A few decent comic book sites have bitten the dust over the years but the CGC forums go from strength to strength.

I have used some books in the GRR from my own collection as it went along...books which were not available in the usual online resources. This only equates to about 10% and the rest have been gleaned from the usual online resources by me, and from my own digital copies in some cases. So yes I know that 90% of the material is available elsewhere but I feel a forum as important as this one also deserves its own comic book interior resource. This is why I continue to add to it. I don't care if you hate the idea and never use it...it's there for you if you need it, amongst all the other great great stuff and information which is readily available around here 24 hours a day.

I hope you derive some use for it though, and some pleasure.

all the best

paul.

Since you chose to not answer me, I will better phrase my question. What is GRR ? I have no idea what you are talking about but I'm a Silver Age guy, don't hang around here too much.
