I posted some comics on Kijiji because it's free and I didnt want to spend 17% on Ebay

So I left my number and got a few calls from the states with people saying they were on military bases

And they wanted to pay me but I had to delete the ad and they would have someone come and pick up the books.

I think it was a scam.

Opinions?

Yep, you’ll deal with lots of scams on there, but don’t give up. I’ve bought and sold thousands of dollars worth of comics on Craigslist, back when I had the time to dedicate to it

Nobody is going to open an international investigation into a small comics scam. Across the border they feel safe to pull that stuff

Kijiji is hit and miss and I have done lots of sales on it and been using it for 11 years.  I use it for local pickup only sales posts.  Its free so better then nothing and its owned by eBay.
