Depends on the issue....

That will definitely have a bearing on it, yes.

Both types may command a premium to the right collectors. Both are less common than their standard US counterpart issues and some will be very hard to find. So prices will vary wildly. A MJI collector who has one left to complete his collection may pay an eye watering sum for what might otherwise be a fairly innocuous 'regular' issue. Ditto a Canadian Price Variant. It all depends on the issue, the circumstances, the collection gap and the buyer(s).

Collectors of these books are comparatively limited in numbers, and when they have completed their set there needs to be someone else interested in any subsequent copies that come up for sale. If there aren't, the book may sit unsold for a long time.

I think MJI's are good buys regardless, as the cardstock versions act like a backing board and often keep the book in better condition. There's a chunkiness too them that appeals.

Hope that helps @MARK ARNEY (you're not the Governor of the Bank of England are you?)

Oh, and Happy Birthday @comicginger1789 :)

Wrong sub-forum...

Funny isn't it TwoPiece. I give a full answer to the OPs question, chuck in a bit of humour, add a happy birthday to one of the only other contributors and get the equivalent of the middle finger from both. Next time I'll just say "wrong sub-forum".
