Hey everyone. I’m new to the CGC world and I’m looking into getting my Spawn 222 Kudranski graded. I was wondering if anyone has seen these type of marks on books and how they might negatively effect grading. You can’t see the markings unless the book is tilted to a certain degree under bright light. They run vertically from top to bottom. Thanks for the look.

comic looks nm so it should be like a 9.6 with those markings but cgc has surprised me it could very well be less or a 9.8

Thanks. I think it’s a print defect possibly? The marks are perfect as if a machine did it.

Sounds like a printing defect, in which case, the book can still receive as high as a 9.8 grade.
