Hi, I’ve wanted this for a while, ideally with the pinup, and don’t have a huge budget. I managed to get this for £90, and have now spotted a couple of things which were not obviously apparent from the pictures or description.

There are a couple of small tears on the pages and back cover, which I new about, but it’s the pin up I’m more concerned about.

It has staple holes next to the staples, so it’s either come from another book, or became detached in the past and has had a poor attempt at reattaching it. It also appears to have been trimmed on one side due to the misaligned attachment, and it’s detached at the bottom staple.

I just wanted some opinions of whether or not I paid around the right price.

from the evidence I see it looks like the Centerfold was married from another book as the staple placement in the other book were probably off due to a miswrap compared to this book so there is a extra set of staple holes. 

but the cover seems to be the original from my best guesses but since the centerfold was married back who can really say specially with those large staple holes in the staple area I would say its still original as chance are the other donor book had a miswrap so the cover would of been off unless they trimmed it like you suspected. 

As for the value if your happy knowing those issues with the price paid that's all that matters. if you want more opinions of the grade post it in the "hey buddy can you spare a grade" PGM part of the forums and see what others say.

as for the trimming since I'm still trying to get a hand of detecting I don't think its trimmed as the edges are all damaged so it kind of negates the purpose of the trim but the pages sticking out that much over the cover is suspect so I am kind of a in a questionable phase for the trimming can you take some pics of the side of the pages as the bottom is a little misaligned on the bottom of the book but that can be because of the loose staples.
