[CLOSED] Warren Magazine Runs V2, Creepy Time.......Recap of Available Page 1

563 posts in this topic

The time has come for the second of four threads that will concentrate on my Magazine duplicates.  Space just doesn't allow me to continue to store all of these.  All books are raw, and I store everything in Mylites2 and full back combos.  My goal is always to provide an accurate grade, and I use well accepted comic book methodology for grading, no variations for the additional size of the mags.  All scans this time around, though I clearly see that the scanner does hide some flaws, and does exaggerate others.  I did start a kudos thread, which doesn't have a ton in it yet, but I had happy customers from my prior threads:

https://www.cgccomics.com/boards/topic/453632-stevemmg-kudos-thread/

A few rules:

1.  Payment via PayPal is my current method.  Payment due within 48 hours of invoice.  If you can’t pay for it, please be courteous and let it go.  You can request an invoice at any time, or you can wait until the conclusion of the thread, and I will invoice you within a day.

2.  Shipping is by USPS Priority Mail flat rate box. $13.95 for up to 3 CGC graded books. $13.95 for up to six raw books. SHIPPING TO CONTINENTAL US ONLY AT THIS POINT. Sorry my Canadian friends, but I don’t have the extra time for the long lines at the post office.  If you win a large quantity of books, I will pack securely in boxes and get with you on a shipping quote.  I did have cases where using the comic mailers for single mags were cheaper, and if that is an option in your case, we can do that too.  I'm not out to make money on shipping, but I am out to get your purchase there safely.  I won't use media mail or ship in envelopes.  I'm in town this week, so my goal will be to get everything posted by Tuesday or Wednesday at the latest, and get everyone shipped before I'm out of town the following week.

3.  No returns on CGC graded books. Raw books are returnable up to two weeks, but please let me know they’re coming back. You pay return postage, but I will refund original shipping.

4.  First “I’ll take it” in the thread trumps pm’s

I’m an eBay member since 2000 with over 3700 positive feedback, user name stevemmg  I’ve done business with most every major dealer in the country , so if you need references, I’m sure we can find a common connection.

Once the Creepy thread is complete, I will do a Vampirella thread, followed by a misc Warren, Skywald, Eerie pubs, National Lampoon, Heavy Metal version.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you find something you like along the way

Creepy 1 7.5-8.0 Here's where it all begins!  Who would have thought 9 years after the tragic demise of EC Comics you would find this issue on the stands.  Jack Davis provides the classic cover, and inside you get Orlando, Williamson, Crandall, Frazetta, Morrow and Torres.  This copy was originally sold by Mile High Comics as a NM 9.4, and you can have the label from Chuck.  Maybe you can sell it back to him as a nm copy?  LOL.  $80 SOLD TO ANNIHILUS

Creepy #6 7.5 The Frazetta cover is of course, wonderful, but it's that back cover image of the Uncle Creepy's mask that's always burned into my brain.  Jazzy Johnny Severin comes on board to draw Abominable Snowman!  $35 SOLD TO NORRIN'S LAWYER

Creepy #7 7.5 Dracula Vs. Frankenstein, Frazetta style!  I loved when they fought in the Universal Pic, and this is just amped up on steroids.  Not a modern comic around that could deliver the quality of entertainment these issues did.   A little preview of Cousin Eerie inside.  $40 SOLD TO NORRIN'S LAWYER

Creepy #15 7.0 The story goes that Jim Warren was in dire need of a cover and went to Frank's place and waited while he painted this beauty.  Fact or lore, it's just too cool.  The Terror Beyond Time in this issue by the one and only Neal Adams.  $30 SOLD TO SPEEDCAKE
