I cannot give an honest grade, there are not any decent close up pics of the front cover spine/staple area.

In your first pic the book on the right has either a bindery defect or has been trimmed...???

I can tell you that I graded our raw copy of DD 168 @ NM- 9.2 and that book in that condition is currently (Prices are from eBay sold auction sales) is $130.00.

With the book on the left I see a couple of small spine ticks with color break and a slightly wavy cover but the rest of the book looks very clean/nice, IMO...

9.0 VERY FINE/NEAR MINT (VF/NM):  Back to Top
Nearly perfect with outstanding eye appeal. A limited number of bindery/printing defects are allowed. Cover is almost flat with almost imperceptible wear. Inks are bright with slightly diminished reflectivity. An 1/8" bend is allowed if color is not broken. Corners are cut square and sharp with ever-so-slight blunting permitted but no creases. Several lightly penciled, stamped or inked arrival dates are acceptable. Very minor foxing. Spine is tight and flat. Staples may show some discoloration. Only the slightest staple tears are allowed. A very minor accumulation of stress lines may be present if they are nearly imperceptible. Paper is off-white to cream and supple. Very minor interior tears may be present.

I am not going to offer a grade for the book on the right since I do not know if it is a bindery defect or it has been trimmed.

Compare the inside pages to the other book, do they appear to have to same margins and only the cover is not cut correctly?

 Thank you very much MM

I do not believe this book had been trimmed.  I just double checked and the pagers are plumb. Would you care to see photos or can you render a score?:download: do you believe these should be submitted? also what would be the sweet spot for number of books to submit
