I DO have a pretty nice, and near-complete SA Marvel collection, along with select DC titles, and I'm chasing the last few 60's Charlton tiles I'm interested in, along with oddballs like Boys Ranch, Tippy Teen, Bunny, CARtoons, 50's Phantom Stranger, etc. In my core collection I probably don't have over 10,000 books, and I'm thinning even that batch. But I still buy bargains whenever I see them, and either resell or trade for books I haven't read before. You'll see the results before the end of the thread, I bought a couple precode horror books, a Sensation 111, and a few pulps with comic stories in them over the spring and summer, have enjoyed them, and am now sending them on their way. The pulps are particularly interesting, the stories are the first appearance, but all were eventually reprinted in comics, often edited a bit before comic publication. Look for those over in Mixed when I start that one up with Fawcett Dime Action BLB's, pulps, vintage paperbacks, and other oddball stuff. Although this one is supposed to be scarce too, from what I've heard. Flat, clean, tight, glossy white pages. Whiff of general wear, three or four tiny color breaks along the spine. Vault of Horror 27 Older tape along entire spine, and for the life of me I can't see why, the spine appears to be fully intact and perfectly nice. Three more small pieces along upper edge BC, and at least there's an excuse for them, they're on small tears. Otherwise flat and clean, decent gloss, tight spine and CF, white pages. Otherwise a whiff of spine roll, tear upper RH BC, some general wear. Pulled lower staple on CF, chips off several upper interior corners, white pages. And that's not an ink line across the lower FC as I originally thought, that's the upper edge of the windshield of the getaway boat, Asking $30 SOLD!
