Its obviously a follow up from Azzarellos 2007 book Joker. Lots of strong and disturbing images in this new Black Label title. There can be little to no doubt, that Batman actually raapess Harley Quinn on top of the bat signal.

Gorgeous art by Lee Bermejo, but it’s in the running for the worst story of the year and easily one of the worst Batman books ever written.

Agreed. Glad I only bought the TPB instead of investing in the actual books...

what a disappointment.

Just read the trade. Can’t say it’s the worst Batman story I’ve ever read, but I can say that I didn’t think it was very good and definitely didn’t like it. 
 

It seemed like the story was going in one direction and then they changed their mind and went in another. Reading the arc in one sitting made this problem stand out even more.  

Way to many guest stars without enough substance for each. Why were there two versions of Zatanna?  Very inconsistent. I thought the ending was pretty bad too.

It ties into the Joker graphic novel the same team did in 2008. I suspect well se a third arc at some point. Together these should make up a full story.

I really liked it, but I could be bias because I love the team doing it
