There is some speculation in this thread that books with tear seals and reinforcement can now get universal grades is this true or are the books posted just labelling errors?

Well, universal grade is not the same as conserved grade. But for conserved, yes, as long as tear seals and reinforcement is “A” quality. All the work allowed in conserved is listed on our website. https://www.cgccomics.com/comic-grading/labels/

So a book with tear seals could get a blue label?

A blue conserved label.

What about the following books with color touch, trimming etc.?

This seems to be a problem specific to the new superhero labels. Nobody has been able to produce an example of a purple, green, or conserved superhero label as of yet. Does CGC not have the ability to make such labels? The examples seem too numerous to simply be mistakes that have slipped through QC.

Hopefully you can understand the concern many have voiced.

Those have to be labeling errors. If not, then CGC has completely jumped the shark.
