Variant Price hand-written above Actual Printed Price? 0

Hi All.... I got this pretty clean ETERNALS #5 with a small 40 (I'm assuming cents) Above the 30 cent printed price - My Questions:

1 - Has anybody ever seen this before? 2- Is this like a Canadian retailer selling a US Comic? 3- If this Is a wholesaler/retailer 'thingie' , then is this a defect or an acceptable 'mark in' or not?

trying to get jpeg on - tried from files on desktop, no luck - now tried via a URL ???

Hand-written prices are not variants. Your book is written on like a scribble or line drawn on a cover. This is not accepted to the point a date stamp would be.
