I sent 4 books to CGC but it’s showing that only one was graded and that it’s being shipped back to me. This is my first CGC experience and I just wanted to know if this is the normal procedure. I thought they all would’ve been shipped back together.

If the books were all under the same grading tier and/or service, they will be shipped back to you in one package. If your books qualified for multiple tiers (Modern, Economy, etc) or you added CCS pressing to one or more books, they will be split onto multiple invoices and shipped separately.
