zero perspective in the Byrne pieces.  Compare to Perez-master of perspective.  Byrne a 2D artist.

Perez is not afraid to draw challenging scenes.  Byrne, while he draws well, does not approach anything like that his panels much more basic.  Also as mentioned he tends to skimp on backgrounds.
