Ha.  Mr. Doll.  I think he’s about ready for a reboot.  Maybe he’ll be the villian in Iron Man 4.  Who’s the worst villian: Mr. Doll or the Unicorn?  #56 was also weird because Pepper went from being mousy and unattractive to being hot in the span of two panels.  Quite the make over.

Haha at least the Unicorn hung around for a while. Did Mr Doll ever make a 2nd appearance?  Not that I remember but maybe some Mr Doll fans can chime in :nyah:

Always loved #63 as it was one of my earliest older Marvels. The above copy is not that great but it beats the heck out of the original one I used to have. To say it was "well-loved' is a major understatement.I sold it on ebay and made someone pretty happy with a cheap reader copy, though most would call my crrent copy a reader as well. I'm fine with that

Tales of Suspense #01.jpg

Love this issue! It was the first time I ever laid eyes on Al Williamson art!

Al Williamson was so good.  I wonder if he was too expensive for Marvel because he’s not in very many of their issues as far as I know.  It felt odd to me reading the Jack Davis story in #38 too.  I’m so used to seeing his work in ECs.
