Comics slabbed too tightly when graded 0

Hi All,

I have recently acquired a CGC graded Comic book and have noticed due to the packing pressing on the plastic has occurred leaving the front looking like it has been covered in petrol. It is a larger book so i'm curious if this is just par for the course and that they have to be packed that tight to fit in a slab? Has anybody else experienced this?
