Who can buy?
Anyone not on the Probation List or the Hall of Shame can buy. Even so, I reserve the right to refuse sale to anyone.

How do you pay?
I accept PayPal Goods and Services or Zelle. If we've done business or you're a regular here in sales, I'm happy to take a check. If you're uncertain if pay-by-check is available to you, just PM and ask.

Can you make a return?
I won't take a return due to buyer's remorse. If now is a bad time for you to make a purchase, don't push that bad timing onto me. Otherwise, you need to let me know within five (5) calendar days of receiving the book, as indicated by USPS tracking.

How do I ship and what does it cost?
I will ship via USPS Priority. I will take a collector's care with packaging your comic. Shipping is $10 for any number of raws, $15 for any number of slabs (or slabs combined with raws). I ship in Gemini mailers or Priority boxes, no envelopes.

What else do you need to know?
Payment is expected within 3 days of me invoicing you, else I reserve the right to relist the comic. :takeit: in the thread trumps PM negotiations. You need to post a :takeit: here whether buying a comic at the asking price or negotiating via PM.

Kudos
It's embarrassingly long from my manic buying and selling days, but here it is.

Now that my wife and I have decided to home school our kid this academic year, we have home projects big and small to address. To further our domestic ends and preserve our savings during a time of pandemic, I'm selling off some of my most treasured comics. Unlike my Last Gasp Comic Shop sales threads, these books aren't being sold at rock bottom prices. I'm at or above what I understand to be FMV on these. You will see some affordable, attractive Raboy Captain Marvel, Jr. comics, two PCH Kubert horror comics, and a Kubert key signed by Kubert (purportedly) with a COA that this copy is from his personal collection.

For now, I'm going to list one comic. I'll be back in about 1.5 hours and will start listing.

EDIT: Here's a recap posted 07 AUG 2020, about 9:20p CST.

Here's how I'll try discounts this time. Below you will see a list of which comics remain. This list includes a discounted price that becomes active tomorrow, Saturday, 08 AUG 2020, at 12:00p EST. Once we reach noon eastern, the comic becomes available at the discounted price. Any near-simultaneous :takeit:'s will be resolved with whichever reply is first printed by the message board software. All comics remain available via PM deals as well, both before and after the discount takes effect.

Captain Marvel Jr. #11, 6.0, Raboy-c, secure cover and centerfold, asking $215.00 :news: SOLD to bounty_coder

A really fun war scene where Jr. appears happy as a lark flying his motorcycle with side-car through the air, leaving behind the wreckage of enemy planes. This is one of my favorite Raboy covers that I own. Generally, I like all his airborne covers in this series.

Captain Marvel, Jr. #12, 3.0, Raboy-c, centerfold secure, cover attached but at risk, $125.00 :news: SOLD! to William-James88

Wreckage makes Jr. feel serene, doesn't it? Rough spine, scribbling at the top. Beat but complete.

Captain Marvel, Jr. #23, 3.0, Raboy-c, $105 :news: SOLD to William-James88

This one is a bit of a mystery to me. There's a piece of tape, old brown tape, beneath the centerfold. The centerfold isn't torn, and the staple is secure. My hypothesis is that someone separated the staple from the pages, added the piece of tape, restored the staple to its place, and reassembled the comic. The staple looks original to me. I attached some images for you to see what I mean. One image is of the centerfold, where you'll see the outline of the tape showing through. The other image is the back of the centerfold, where the tape is attached.

Captain Marvel, Jr. #24, 5.0, Raboy-c, centerfold and cover secure, book length vertical crease on front cover, $150.00 :news: NFS

This one is super tough to let go. I love these GA hero covers that have some crossover with Americana and children's literature. This one is just so good. The vertical crease runs from the top edge, neatly bisecting the "C" in "Captain", down to the bottom edge. The bend goes into the interior for at least 4 or 5 page. It's much like a subscription crease, but probably got something heavy put on top of it that grabbed the page and folded it. Even so, it's a very nice cover. It's probably my favorite that I own, and I've priced it somewhat aggressively.

I'm pausing the listings to clean up the thread a bit. Thanks to everyone who's looked! I have 4 more CMJ's to list and a few Kubert covers. After that I may do some more digging as I have a dollar goal that I want to raise, which means letting go of some issues and copies I really love.
