Hairs inside of recent CGC slabs

Hi,

I was wondering if you could explain the recent influx of hairs ending up inside of newly cgc’d slabs.  I received a few books that have had hairs in them and figured maybe it was some sort of strange one off but I’ve been seeing a lot of other collectors posting their books complaining of hair in their slabs as well.

Can this be addressed and can you explain how or why this would be happening?

thanks

Good afternoon,

We're sorry to hear that you have been experiencing this issue.  If you have a book that has any foreign substance inside the holder, please email our customer service department and they can provide you with a shipping label and instructions on sending that back to us for a complimentary reholder.  You can email us at submissions@cgccomics.com.

Thanks!

As I was listing some items for sale on eBay, I just realized that I have experienced the same issue (a hair in one of the CGC cases I recently received), and I was wondering what to do. So thanks for providing this information, Jennifer F. An email has been sent, and I will await a reply!
