Can Venom Lethal Protector 1 Italian Platinum Ed. be pressed? 0

Hi. I just received a nice copy of Venom Lethal Protector #1 the Italian Platinum Edition, and I’m curious if CCS will press this book? Someone on IG told me that it would be rejected, and cited that all glossy covers are rejected but I’m trying to gather more evidence for this claim and I can’t find anything solid.

Good morning,

Thank you for your message.  Books with glossy covers may experience certain issues such as ink flecking or color lift, even when encapsulated.  We recommend you utilize our screening service to see if your book would be a good candidate for pressing.  

The screening fee is 1% of the declared value with a $10.00 minimum and a $50.00 maximum charge.  The evaluation fee is charged in addition to any pressing fees.  If the book is not approved for services then you would pay only the screening fee. 

Evaluations can only be performed with the book in hand and not via images or graders notes.  The results will be either press or reject designation.
