Do you guys see any potential in this minor key book? Or is interest in Steppenwolf past whatever peak it may have had?

I think 1927 was a better year for Steppenwolf.

I would’ve thought there would be much, much more interest in seeing Darkseid featured as the main villain.   
 

Steppenwolf will seem quite insignificant in comparison. As a character, as a ‘key’ to be flipped.

Never understood the peak to begin with.  What an overblown character.  Darkseid, yes. Orion, yes, Mr. Miracle, yes.  Even Big Barda, yes.  But Steppenwolf?  Really?

The peak was simply speculation due to him  being the main  villain of the first ever Justice League film.

 

And I too understand interest in Barda. I think of all the New God characters, she may be the one to look out for. I always found it cool that she was part if the future Justice League in the DC animated universe.
