MAD MAGAZINE GRADING AND THE MAILER COVER REMOVAL 0

Hello All,

Quick question: I have Mad magazines I want to grade in the future. How does CGC handle the white “mailer cover” that protects the actual book? If we have to remove it prior (which I guess I would) what is the best way to remove it without damaging the book, especially the staples where it attaches. Thank you for any advice or experience with this-

Have you gotten an answer on this yet? I'm also very curious what the process is for this... Should I remove it? Will CGC remove it? I can't imagine it would stay one, since you wouldn't be able to see the actual cover.

I have seen graded issues of Sports Illustrated where CGC left the cover on and folded it over the back cover so that the real cover could be displayed.  Don't know if the person having the issue graded requested it this way, or if CGC did this on their own.
