Cover Detached - Blue Label possible? 0

I've spoken to several collectors on this topic - each has a different pinion.  If a cover is completely detached (but the cover and interior are otherwise complete) - does the issue receive an automatic GREEN label?  I've seen many BLUE labels that annotate "Cover Detached", so I'm not sure how CGC now handles detached-covers.

If the collectors you’re talking to are giving conflicting opinions, I suggest contacting Cgc directly, they have paid customer service representatives.

they have phone, email, and social media, all of which can likely be found through the Cgc website.

Could go either way, but it should be a Universal 2.0 at best.

Here is the official word from CGC back in 2013.    Nothing higher than a 4.0.  After that, it goes green.
