Opinions on unusual color 0

I would love to get some opinions on this cover.  I purchased this from the LCS, read it once, and it's been in the long box ever since.

Check out the steel girders that Thor is standing on.  Notice the unusual shading.  I've looked at other scans of this issue and I haven't seen any that are similar.  I don't think it is a transfer stain because it is limited to the girders and doesn't show up on the white areas of the cover.

Color touch?  There is no bleed through.

What do you think?  Just a quirk in the printing process?
