FIGHT COMICS #42. Beautiful example of a wartime Fiction House, with interior stories by Lily Renée and Matt Baker. The book's technical grade is 5.0 give or take; there's a number of soft creases on both covers, and a couple of pages have small interior tears in the right margin (see spoiler'd pics for the worst one, which I believe is a production hiccup). However, in addition to the book having stellar gloss and rich inks, **the cover reds are super deep red**, not orange and not faded at all... giving it a beautiful higher-grade appearance uncommonly found on Fiction House books IMO. The book has a rounded spine with no splits, firm staples and supple white/offwhite pages.

EERIE #8 in 1.8/2.0. Bizarre classic double bondage cover. Very glossy lower-grade copy. The top edge FC has some color lift (not a piece missing), and the top edge BC actually does have a similar strip of paper missing. Most interior pages have light stains along the top edges & corners; a pic in spoilers shows the worst of it. Displays super well for the grade though! An issue not often for sale.

TENDER ROMANCE #1 in 2.0. "Has the babysitter arrived as yet?" Uh, yeah! Scarce romance book with some great stories. Nice lower-grade copy, glossy with good colors; spine split/tear bottom left.

TRUE LOVE PICTORIAL #7 in 1.5. Tough Baker innuendo cover. Wear and tear as shown; chew lower left, pretty unobtrusive when book is open. Supple pages.

SPICY DETECTIVE, MAY 1937 in 1.0. Scarce spicy pulp with a lurid catfight cover. Heavy wear and spine splits, chips missing both sides, but colors and spine are good and presents decently. HA has only sold one copy, a VF for $1125.

SPICY DETECTIVE, NOVEMBER 1939 in 2.5. Nasty suggestive cover. Book looks like a glossy midgrade from the front, but back has some pieces missing. Nice spine. Tough issue -- HA has never sold a copy!

Here's one you don't see every day... 

SILVER STREAK #23 in 3.0. Stunner of a GGA/bondage cover, last issue in the run. Fresh book with vibrant colors and gloss; areas of surface ink loss on both covers; faint drink ring visible in the 'TR' of the logo; 2.5" tear on one interior page. Superb eye appeal despite the flaws. White/OW pages.

DETECTIVE COMICS #102 in 1.0. Awesome Joker cover by Sprang. Low grade copy nice for the grade with rich colors, though edge chips to both covers and corner piece missing on the back. Cover wrap is detached from the interior; discreet archival tape seal inside the frayed spine. White/OW pages. All GA Joker covers are red hot right now and this one's no exception... a few copies with much worse eye appeal have sold in the $300s on the 'bay.
