New Overstreet Grading Guide

The new edition of the Grading Guide will be out in December. Has anyone heard anything about this guide yet? I have heard that it will be a more detailed book then the first. I thought the first book was great and can't wait to see the new edition.

I certainly hope it will be seen as an improvement in at least some areas, although the first book set a standard, that's for sure. One distinct enhancement, however, is that the new grading guide will be in full color throughout.

Were you able to get any of the restoration experts to contribute?

There will be an extensive restoration section with an introductory chapter on the topic, as well as articles by Susan Cicconi-Killiany on how to spot restoration and her opinions on the state of restoration in the market, and an article by Matt Nelson on a proposed new scale for numerically expressing the quality and quantity of restoration. Both are heavily illustrated.
