While being at uploading to CAF...I said,....the heck with it, let's post these 2 pieces as well ?....

The Spectacular Spider-Ham title page from issue 4 by Fred Hembeck, who only did this 1 book for the original Peter Porker series. He did a few of the Marvel Tales later on, but as I said, this is the only original Ham book he did.

And here is a wonderful David Finch Commission of Hellboy....plus a cute cat ...enjoy.

Early delivery! This arrived today :whee:

While it's not one of Jones' more recognizable/popular covers, I love the GGA/PCH vibe. The black & white ink give it a much more ominous feeling vs the colorized printed version in my opinion.

Stunning cover. If it were mine, I'd be delighted, too.

When most people thing of Thanos and Cosmic they think of Starlin's Captain Marvel/Warlock first run, his later Silver Surfer Run and of course Infinity Gauntlet.  While I enjoy those too and have pages from them (Ok, not from Captain Marvel/Warlock) I also liked the Thanos run in Thor (Issue 18 to 25) by Jurgens and John Romita Jr.

I already have  an unused cover, a DPS, and a bunch of panel/half splash pages herehere, and here

but now I also have a full splash! - CAF Link to my new Thanos Full Splash by JR JR

Thanks for looking!

Watch Out Jack Kirby, Adam West is gunning for you!  On May 13th, 2016, Adam West and Burt Ward created this piece of original sketch art for me. Adam West was known for his art and occasional doodles, but this was the first time Burt Ward had ever been asked to sketch Robin. It was a lot of fun watching them attempt to task. Great memories. Mr. West, you will be missed!  Troy Kinunen

Happy Birthday to me!

I saw this at Comicpalooza while picking up art for a friend and really liked it as an example of one of my favorite series, but I decided to pass on it. I’ve bought too much of late and SDCC is coming.

However, Kathy, my wonder wife, picked it up for my birthday. Very pleased to have an example from that series.

I thought it was a pretty nice example since it captured some of the weirdness of Tommy's experience. This is one of the pages where the "Harry Potter-ness" of the story is stronger. I thought when reading it that the series was just going to be a take off of HP, but, nope, HP just served as a way to give it a little context. Good book.

For a long time now, a Don Newton Batman page has been on my list of original art I would like to own. Recently I was fortunate enough to be able to buy a nice page to add to my collection. I had been looking for a page full of batman images but when I saw this page with Batman, Matches Malone, a killer composition and a nice little completish story I had to have it.
