So that being said will Indian Ink fade over time? Will this age poorly when compared to contemporaries or those of the silver age?

India Ink is what you want on OA.  It doesn't fade.

Got it....I did read an article somewhere that was talking about some of Todd's earlier work not holding up because of some of the ink that was used. Not sure if it was Indian ink or something else.

Just added my first new art of the year to my CAF. Nine pieces, including a 1970s Toth splash, a swell Joe Kubert Enemy Ace page, a violent Bob Powell Cave Girl page, a first year Stan Lynde Rick O'Shay daily, plus Moldoff, Timm & more.

I really enjoyed Superman Secret Identity (by Busiek and Immonen) and gladly bought the issue 1 cover when I saw it for sale!

Art Day: Swashbucklers Saga Continues #2 and #2 covers by Butch Guice.

I am a huge fan of the original Swords of the Swashbucklers by Butch Guice and Bill Mantlo. They recently did a Kickstarter to help out Bill Mantlo with his medical expenses which also reprinted the original series and supported a new limited series Swashbucklers Saga Continues. While not as good as the original I enjoyed the series. Butch didnt do the interiors (sad) he did do a cover for each issue. I previous bought the covers to issues #1 and #4 and now I have issues #2 and #3 *#5 owned by someone else). So its great to add those to many other covers and interiors to the original series. Butch has still got it!

UHowdy,

Been a quiet art year so far- until I added a Neal Adams Batman page (B&B#83, 1969), Perez New Teen Titan's (NTT 1983 annual) Starfire vs Cheshire, 1st appearance), Clyde Caldwell Savage Hearts portfolio pin-up (1993) and a cool Shadow page by Barreto! (1989)

Proud to add iconic Ms. Marvel #18 cover that fits my collection to a KREE!  Love the classic full-figure image with the Avengers, my first Cockrum cover.  Mystique from X-Men made her 1st full appearance in this key issue.
