PGM Action 437 100 pager

15 posts in this topic

Here is my Action 437 100 pager. It's a very sharp copy with almost no defects. It has a slightly blunted right bottom corner and that's about it except for a chip at the top of the spine, which I am almost certain is a production defect. No spine stress and no creases. The white line at the bottom of the spine on the front is a coloring defect, not a crease or spine split. I have posted a blown-up picture of the spine chip. Please keep in mind that CGC grades 100 pagers differently with a lenient eye towards production problems.

That low? I guess you would know better than anyone, but I was thinking 9.2 or better. Does CGC slam spine chips that bad on 100 pagers? I am assuming this is a cutting defect, maybe I am mistaken. 893scratchchin-thumb.gif

Come to think of it, it resembles a 9.2 Detective 439 that I graded previously and dumped on Deathlok. I may have overestimated the size of them. Whether it's production related or not, once it's gone, they will mark it down. gossip.gif

Thanks for the opinion, I think you are about right at 9.2. The chip is tiny and it's blown up for the scan. It's measures maybe 1/4".

Wow...

Since it's top secrect how much CGC takes off for a production chip like that it could go anywhere from 8.5-9.2.

I have no idea how CGC would grade it, but I can only give it a 9.0

P.S. Good thing you changed the title to "Action" before anyone replied. That could have been a little bit embarassing, eh? poke2.gif
